Any Flush hands with Heart suit works with Bloodstone, although any 5 card hands that includes 2-3 Heart cards can benefit greatly as well.

- Oops! All 6s is incredibly useful, guaranteeing that this Joker's effect triggers. Because Bloodstone works so well with Oops! All 6s, stacking other chance-based Jokers, like Lucky Cat, Business Card, and Hallucination, can be helpful to maximize the value of Oops! All 6s.

- Bloodstone is one of four stone/mineral themed jokers unlocked by having 30 cards of that suit in your deck. The others are Arrowhead (spades), Rough Gem (diamonds), and Onyx Agate (clubs).
- A bloodstone (also known as a Heliotrope) is a typically green stone with distinctive red spots resembling drops of blood, hence the name.
- Bloodstone could be connected to Lusty Joker, with the name relating to the phase blood lust or lust for blood.
- Before Update 1.0.1f, this was the only chance-based Joker to have a 1 in 3 chance, and therefore required two Oops! All 6s to have a 100% activation chance. It has since been changed to a 1 in 2 chance of triggering.
