Decks[]
Checkered Deck - Only having two suits makes it significantly more likely to have a Flush in hand at all times.- Red Deck - The +1 discard makes the Burnt Joker have less of a downside.
Poker Hands[]
Simple hands such as Pairs or High Cards are more likely to naturally occur, thus making them easier to discard and level up.
Jokers[]
- Blueprint or Brainstorm - Synergizes incredibly well, as after the desired hand is discarded it can be moved to copy a different Joker before a hand is played.
- Jokers that make a particular hand easier to produce, such as Four Fingers, Shortcut, and Smeared Joker, can make it easier to discard their related hands, especially if you then want to be able to play the same hand immediately afterwards; Four Fingers and Shortcut also allow you to hit the relevant hand when discarding fewer cards, for situations when there are cards in your hand you want to keep.
- May or may not have anti-synergy with Trading Card since this Joker requires discarding a single card to benefit and thus can only level-up High Card.

- Space Joker is similar, but it may provide an upgrade for playing hands instead of discarding them.
