Decks[]
Black Deck is good with this joker, basically giving it an extra X1 Mult.- Nebula Deck is really good with this Joker, as it relies less on having many Jokers, thus freeing up slots.
- Zodiac Deck can be good with this Joker as it gives more chances for cards other than Jokers to appear.
Poker Hands[]
Strong, five-cards hand like Flush, Straight or Full House synergizes well with Joker Stencil thanks to their high base Mult.
Jokers[]
- Any negative Joker works well with this, as they do not take up a Joker slot.
- Because the Joker Stencil counts itself as an empty slot, multiple Joker Stencils combine brilliantly. If you have five slots, two Joker Stencils and no other Jokers, they both provide X5 Mult for a combined total of X25 Mult. A negative joker stencil gives an extra X1 Mult to each Joker Stencil (the formula being XMult = Empty Joker slots + # of Joker Stencils).
- Invisible Joker can also be good for duplicating the Joker Stencil, provided you can make it through enough rounds to sell it.
- While Blueprint and Brainstorm both copy the main effect of Joker Stencil, they do not take on the secondary effect of acting as an empty joker slot. This may make their synergies with Joker Stencil inadvisable.
- Any Joker giving Mult is good, as it's better to have a bigger base Mult to multiply off of. Jokers that can reach high levels of Mult by themselves like Ceremonial Dagger, Red Card, Erosion, Flash Card, and Bootstraps are really good as you don't have to rely on multiple Jokers to get large amounts of Mult.
Spectral Cards[]
- Ectoplasm makes one of your jokers negative which adds +1 joker slot therefore adding X1 Mult.
- Ankh can copy a joker stencil and destroys other jokers so it gives X25 Mult.

- Antimatter provides +1 Joker Slot and therefore gives it an extra X1 Mult.

- Painted Deck has anti-synergy with this Joker, as it basically gives it X1 Mult less.
- Plasma Deck is also generally not good with this, as usually you either want a lot of chips cards for early antes or need a lot more mult for later antes, more then what this Joker gives.
Poker Hands[]
Weaker hands with low base Mult like High Card, Pair or Two Pairs has poor synergies with Joker Stencil, unless heavily leveled up using Planet Cards.
Jokers[]
- Abstract Joker requires filling up all Joker Slots to give maximize effect, thus has anti-synergy with Joker Stencil.
Trivia[]
- The joker image has been cut out the card, allowing you to see through it when moving this Joker around. However, when it is flipped face-down, it uses the same standard intact card back as the rest.
