Red Deck

The Red Deck is a deck which provides +1 discard every round. This deck is unlocked by default.

It contains the usual 52 cards that a normal deck of cards includes: four suits, each with 13 cards (2 to 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace).

As it synergizes with pretty much anything due to its generic limitation, you can use whatever you find without much issue.

Extra discards helps to play wider or heavily luck based hands, as well as acting as a cards filter to help trigger effects.

This deck also fits well with color deck manipulation.

Certain Jokers that require you to have more discards available synergize better with this deck.

Since you are just starting, you need to learn about how to score, so the following 3 jokers provide a good introduction:

Chip builder: Crafty Joker for +80 Chips if played hand contains a Flush (an easy starter hand).
Additive multiplier: Joker gives a constant +4 Mult, but if possible replace it with Droll Joker for ++10 Mult on Flushes.
Multiplying multiplier: Gros Michel then grab Cavendish after

Try to think with tarot/spectral cards to create hands that don't usually exist in regular pokers, if you find something, buy a planet pack after.

Then hunt for content to unlock including vouchers.
