- Two Pair and especially Full House work best with this Joker in the early game.
- Four of a Kind, Five of a Kind, and Flush Five work well with this Joker in the late game.

Synergies
- Pareidolia makes every card scored provide +5 Mult.
- Sock and Buskin will add an additional +5 Mult per face card scored.
- Triboulet provides a Mult multiplier for each played King or Queen.
- Business Card gives each face card played a 50% chance to provide $2 when scored.
- Scary Face provides additional Chips for each face card played.
- Splash causes all face cards played to provide +5 Mult.
Anti-Synergies
- Baron, Shoot the Moon, and Reserved Parking encourage not playing face cards
- Ride the Bus actively punishes playing face cards

- The Plant: Debuffs all faces, which prevents Smiley Face from giving any mult.
