The Steel Joker is an Uncommon Joker that gives X0.2 Mult for each Steel Card in your full deck. This Joker can only appear if you have at least one Steel Card in your full deck.
It can be a top-tier multiplier card, assuming you can put lots of steel cards into your deck. The combination of steel cards in hand plus the high multiplier of Steel Joker can easily create high scoring hands. Getting steel cards into your deck is the biggest challenge with this joker. You will need to invest heavily in booster packs.
Synergies[]
To synergize with the Steel Joker, there are two approaches: one is to maximize the number of steel cards in the deck, and the second is to maximize the scoring potential of the steel cards that will be in your hand. In general, steel cards benefit from having a high base multiplier after scoring the cards, since steel cards act before any Jokers. As such, planet cards and Jokers that add multiplier upon scoring cards can help boost scores.
Decks[]
Steel Joker works well with all decks, but Steel Joker is particularly well suited to the 
Plasma Deck. Since the combination of multipliers between Steel Joker and steel cards can significantly boost mult well beyond any possible chip combinations, Plasma helps turn that high mult into a much higher score.
Poker Hands[]
Steel tends to work best with smaller hand types (high card, pair, etc). This allows you to keep more cards in hand, capitalizing on the many steel cards in the deck.

There are a few particularly good synergies with Steel Joker:
To get more steel cards, use:
DNA is very helpful, as it can be used to duplicate steel cards each round.
To improve the value of steel cards, use Jokers that help increase mult at time of card scoring:
- Greedy Joker, Lusty Joker, Wrathful Joker and Gluttonous Joker provide +3 Mult when playing the corresponding suit.
- Mime retriggers all "in hand" cards, which should include many steel cards.
- Fibonacci causes Aces, 2, 3, 5, 8 to give +8 Mult when scored.
- Even Steven gives +4 Mult when playing even ranked cards.
- Scholar makes aces give +4 Mult when scored.
- Walkie Talkie causes 4s and 10s to give +4 Mult when scored.
- Smiley Face makes face cards give +5 Mult when scored.
- Onyx Agate makes all Club cards give +7 Mult when scored.
- Burnt Joker will upgrade the level of the first discarded Poker hand. This allows you to easily level up a hand without buying planet cards, increasing the base multiplier. Especially useful if you're going for a "high card" build.
There are a variety of "retrigger" jokers that can be combined to improve the effect of an additive mult card at the scoring stage.
Consumables[]
Steel Joker requires lots of steel cards to maximize its value. Use Tarot and Spectral cards to boost the amount of steel cards you have:
- The Chariot (Tarot Card) enhances one card into a steel card.
- Death (Tarot Card) can be used to duplicate a steel card.
- Familiar (Spectral Card) has a chance to create steel cards.
- Grim (Spectral Card) has a chance to create steel cards.
- Incantation (Spectral Card) has a chance to create steel cards.
- Cryptid (Spectral Card) can be used to create copies of a steel card.
- All Playing Card Packs have a chance to contain steel cards.
Apart from turning cards into steel, there are other consumable cards that pair well with the Steel enhancement:
- Deja Vu (Spectral Card) can add a red seal to a steel card. This will retrigger the card, adding another x1.5 Mult to the multiplier.
Trivia[]
- Steel Joker's image is identical to the base Joker, but with a steel card skin applied. Unlike playing cards, which retain their color when steeled, Steel Joker is entirely grayscale.
- This Joker is part of a series, along with Stone Joker, Glass Joker, Golden Ticket and Lucky Cat, where the Joker seems to only appear once players have at least one card with the relevant enhancement in their deck.
